Three CCIW Wrestling Teams Ranked in Top 25

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The latest Brute-Adidas/NWCA Division III wrestling rankings show three College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin teams in the top 25 in the country including North Central at No. 8, Elmhurst at No. 12 and Augustana at No. 17 respectively.

North Central is 6-0 in dual meets this season as they moved up 15 spots after a No. 23 national ranking a week ago. Elmhurst is 7-2-1 this season. Augustana is 6-8 in dual meets this season.

At 125 pounds, freshman Tom Gagon of Elmhurst College is ranked No. 7 individually, while North Central junior Noah Fitzenreider is No. 8 at 149 pounds. Elmhurst senior Tyler Ludwig and North Central senior Bobby Gingerich are ranked third and fourth respectively in the 157-pound weight class, while Elmhurst senior Josh Rupprecht is ranked No. 7 nationally in the 174-pound weight class.
