CCIW Indoor track & field teams represented in ustfccca national rankings

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Assocation (USTFCCCA) recently announced its indoor track & field Power Rankings as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was well represented in both the men's and women's polls.

On the women's side, three CCIW teams were ranked in the top five as Illinois Wesleyan was second, North Central was third and Augustana was fifth. On the men's side, North Central and Augustana were ranked first and second respectively while Illinois Wesleyan was 12th.

The CCIW Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held Saturday, March 1 at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. North Central has won all seven indoor championships held on the men's side, while on the women's side, North Central has won the last two. Carthage won the first five from 2001-05.
