CCIW SWIMMERS OF THE WEEK

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – Nathaniel Chapman of Carthage and Maura Milas of Augustana have been selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin "Swimmers of the Week" for the week ending February 1. The CCIW selects a "Swimmer of the Week" by a vote of the league coaches each week during the season.

MEN: Chapman, a freshman from Columbus, Indiana, established three meet records at the Wisconsin Private College Championships. He set lifetime bests in the 100 and 200 backstroke, breaking the marks by 1.8 and 3.5 seconds respectively.

WOMEN: Milas won the 50 freestyle in :25.5 and the 100 freestyle in :55.56 and also anchored the 200 freestyle relay to victory as the Vikings lost a dual meet to Grinnell on Saturday, February 1.
