Wheaton’s Mattiesen and Linn Earn CCIW Swimmer of the Week Honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Ashley Matthiesen and Tim Linn earned College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) swimmer of the week recognition Tuesday after their performances during the previous week of competition.

Matthiesen, a sophomore from Valparaiso, Ind., won both the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the North Central Invite. Linn, a junior from Germantown, Tenn., won the 100 and 200 freestyle at the North Central Invite, finishing with times of 48.5 and 1:49.5 respectively.
