Millikin's Ippel Earns CCIW Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Lindsay Ippel of Millikin was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Monday after her performance during the previous week of competition.

In a 65-61 win over Illinois Wesleyan on January 10, Ippel, a sophomore from Decatur, Ill., scored 27 points, pulled down nine rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals. She was 9-of-16 shooting and a perfrect nine-of-nine from the free throw line.

In a 64-56 win over North Central on Jan. 14, Ippel continued her stellar season as she scored 20 points with seven rebounds, five assists and one block. Ippel finished the game seven-of-11 from the field and was six-of-eight from the free throw line.
