TWo CCIW Women's basketball teams named to national rankings

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Illinois Wesleyan and Millikin finished 1-2 in the recent College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) preseason poll and both earned a spot in the national rankings recently.

Both teams were named to the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Division III preseason top 25 as Illinois Wesleyan earned the No. 16 ranking while Millikin was ranked 21st.

Illinois Wesleyan is coming off a 22-6 record (11-3 in the CCIW), winning an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Millikin is coming off a 20-6 record (11-3 in the CCIW). The Big Blue won the national championship in 2004-05.
