Two CCIW Student-athletes named preseason women's basketball all-americans by d3hoops.com

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Two members of College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) women's basketball teams were named preseason all-Americans by D3Hoops.com Monday.

Millikin's Lindsay Ippel, a senior forward from Decatur, Ill., and St. Teresa High School, was named a first team member while Illinois Wesleyan's Mallory Heydorn, a junior guard from LaGrange, Ill., and Lyons Township High School, was named to the third team.

Ippel started 26 games for the Big Blue last season, leading her team in scoring at 25.9 points per game. She also was second on the team in blocks (24) and steals (41).

Heydorn started 24 games for the Titans a year ago, leading her team in scoring (17.1), steals (59) and assists per game (3.9).
