Jill Trenz of Wheaton and Aja Terrier of Elmhurst are named CCIW co-“Players of the Week”

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – Jill Trenz of Wheaton and Aja Terrier of Elmhurst has been named co-“Players of the Week” in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin for the week ending February 19.

Trenz helped lead Wheaton to a pair of conference victories last week. She averaged 16.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game with a .520 (13-25) field goal percentage. She also added six blocked shots, five assists and five steals. In a 62-40 win over Carthage on Tuesday, February 15 she scored 17 points with 12 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocked shots. On Saturday, February 19 in a 77-41 win at Augustana she had 16 points on 6-10 shooting from the field, grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking four shots.

Terrier averaged a double-double while helping lead the Bluejays to a pair of conference wins and into contention for the final spot in the CCIW Tournament. On Tuesday, February 15 she scored a game high 16 points (8-14 from the floor) and pulled down 10 rebounds in a 59-53 win over North Park. She also had two assists and four steals. On Saturday she scored 18 points and ripped down a season high 17 rebounds in a 74-72 overtime win against North Central. She shot seven of 14 from the field and had a steal.
