Brooke Bailey of Illinois Wesleyan wins "Player of the Week" honors

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE sent 02/24/03ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – Brooke Bailey of Illinois Wesleyan has been selected as the "Player of the Week" in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin for games ending February 23.

Bailey scored 12 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as the Titans clinched the CCIW championship with a 77-69 victory at Carthage on February 22. Earlier in the week she had 12 points and six rebounds in a 50-32 win over Millikin. During the week Bailey had six assists, two blocks, two steals and she shot .500 (8-16) from the floor. She averaged 12.0 points and 11.5 rebounds in two games.
