Millikin's Kristin Kwasny selected Player of the Week

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois - Kristin Kwasny of Millikin has been selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin's "Player of the Week" for the week ending February 24. It is the second consecutive week that Kwasny has been named "Player of the Week" and the fourth time this year.

Millikin tied with Wheaton for the CCIW title and won the automatic berth to the NCAA Division III national tournament and Kwasny had a big part in the Big Blue's success. She scored 33 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Millikin defeated Illinois Wesleyan 54-45 on February 20. In the win against Elmhurst on Saturday, February 23 by a score of 75-38, she went over the 1000 point mark for her career while adding seven rebounds and four steals.
