Ippel, Freeman named d3hoops.com all-americans

NAPERVILLE, Ill.-- Millikin's Lindsay Ippel and Illinois Wesleyan's Zach Freeman earned first team All-America honors by D3Hoops.com over the weekend.

Ippel, a junior from Decatur, Ill., and St. Teresa High School, was named "Most Outstanding Player" in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) during the 2006-07 season, as was also an all-region pick by D3Hoops.com last week.

Additionally, Ippel was also named a Kodak/Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-American Honorable Mention for Division III.

Freeman, a senior from Bloomington, Ill., and Normal Community High School, was a first team all-conference selection during the regular season and earned all-region honors from D3Hoops.com last week. This is the second year in a row that Illinois Wesleyan was represented on the D3Hoops.com All-America Team. Adam Dauksas and Keelan Amelianovich were both members of the first team last season.
