Penn Atlantic to Stream Two CCIW Basketball Games

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, in conjunction with Penn Atlantic, will stream a pair of CCIW basketball games with the first to be played on Tuesday, Jan. 24 and the second on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Both games, which will be aired with full audio and video, will be streamed free of charge through the CCIW website at www.cciw.org by clicking on the links on the home page.

The Jan. 24 women’s match up will see the first place Wheaton Thunder travel to Decatur, Ill., to face defending NCAA champion Millikin for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off. The Jan. 25 men’s game will see a pair of nationally ranked opponents square off as No. 10 Augustana travels to Bloomington, Ill., to face No. 5 Illinois Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m.

The women’s contest will feature audio stream from WHOW 1520 (www.whowradio.com) in Clinton, Ill. Scott Busboom will provide play-by-play, while Andrew Force is the color commentator. The station is Decatur’s ESPN radio outlet WHOW-FM and goes by ESPN Radio 95.9 FM. The men’s game will have audio stream from WJBC 1230 (www.wjbc.com) in Bloomington. Bob Quillman will provide play-by-play.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the conference,” CCIW commissioner Chris Martin said. “The CCIW is very excited to be showcasing four very talented basketball teams to a wider audience. These two games may be a precursor for broadcasting future CCIW games in conjunction with Penn Atlantic. The possibilities are very, very exciting."
