2004-05 CCIW MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – Nick Michael of Elmhurst has been selected as the “Player of the Week” in men’s basketball in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin for the week ending February 26.

Michael helped lead the Bluejays to a pair of wins as Elmhurst, which was picked for seventh in the league in the pre-season poll, clinched a tie for second place with a 10-4 CCIW record. On Wednesday, Michael sank 18 points and pulled down a career-high 22 rebounds in an 85-66 win over Millikin. On Saturday, in a 68-67 overtime win against Augustana, he had 21 points and 13 rebounds while dishing out 13 assists.
