2003-04 CCIW MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – Chris Martin of Elmhurst and Keelan Amelianovich of Illinois Wesleyan have been selected as the "co-Players of the Week" in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin for the week ending February 28. Martin went on a scoring binge, hitting for 29 in a loss to Carthage on Wednesday, February 25 and then nailing 26 in a win over Millikin on Saturday, February 28. For the week he was 21 of 33 (.640) from the field and grabbed 15 rebounds.Amelianovich scored a career high 26 points and had three rebounds in a 97-71 win over North Central on February 25 and then tallied 17 points with eight rebounds in a 75-72 win over Wheaton on February 28 that clinched the CCIW title for the Titans. He was 16-27 (.593) from the floor during the week.
