Outlook
North Central has won 21 straight conference championships dating back to 1985. The Cardinals have won 29 conference titles in all, 27 under legendary coach Al Carius.

Carius was recently inducted into the Drake Relays Coaches Hall of Fame during a reception at the Drake Knapp Center in Des Moines, Iowa on April 27. The Drake Relays Coaches Hall of Fame was established in 1977 and now has 73 inductees.

The Cardinals will be gunning for their 22nd straight championship after storming their way to the conference title during the indoor season.
