Wheaton's miller named cciw men's tennis player of the week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Wheaton's Justin Miller was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Tennis Player of the Week Wednesday after his performance during the past weekend of competition.

Miller, a junior from Scottsdale, Ariz., went 7-1 on Wheaton’s Spring Break trip. He
finished 4-0 in doubles, including an 8-3 win over Max Wilner and Greg Katz of Vassar (No. 10 in Northeast region and winners of fall ITA regional). He also tallied an 8-6 win over Ricky Tilton and Marcus Zeilstra of Calvin (No. 10 in Central region), and an 8-3 win over Elliot Rausa and Sam Zerbib of Coe (No. 7 in Central region). Miller also went 3-1 at No. 2 singles, defeating Max Wilner of Vassar 7-6, 6-4, Sam Zerbib of Coe 6-2, 6-4, and Prasanna Fernandi of Ramapo 6-1, 6-1.
