Outlook
Augustana will host the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Softball Tournament. The Vikings clinched the conference title after a double-header sweep of North Central on May 3, giving them a 13-1 record. It was the second title in three years for Augustana, who shared it with Illinois Wesleyan in 2003 after both teams finished 11-3. Defending champion North Central enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed at 7-7. North Central is also the defending tournament champion after beating the Vikings 7-6 in the championship game last season.

Softball Point System
The team with the most points from the regular season and CCIW tournament based on the following system, will receive the conference automatic bid to the NCAA tournament:

• One point is awarded for each regular season win.
• Teams will be awarded the following points for conference tournament wins.
