CCIW PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Jake Meisenbach of Augustana was named the “Batter of the Week” and Glenn Kamis of Carthage has been selected as the “Pitcher of the Week” in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin for the week ending May 9.

Meisenbach batted .478 with 11 hits in 23 at-bats as the Vikings went 5-0 on the week and scored 56 runs in five games. He was 11 of 23 with six runs scored, two doubles, two home runs and nine runs-batted-in. His slugging percentage was .826 and he was also hit by a pitch once.

Kamis tossed a complete game, four hit shutout as Carthage beat North Central 2-0 on May 7.
