Penn Racquet Sports to Serve as CCIW’s Official Tennis Ball
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin announced Tuesday that Penn Racquet Sports will serve as the official tennis ball of the conference, effective for the 2006-07 tennis season.
Penn Racquet Sports is the first official tennis ball agreement in the CCIW’s history and commissioner Chris Martin hopes that this agreement will greatly aid the tennis programs.
“This agreement with Penn Racquet Sports will be a major benefit to all CCIW tennis coaches and student-athletes,” Martin said. “The CCIW is excited about this partnership and looks forward to benefiting from it in the future.”
Penn, a division of Head NV, is based in Phoenix, Ariz., and serves as the official tennis ball of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), U.S. Masters Series, World Team Tennis and the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA). Visit the company’s website at www.pennracquet.com.
