NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Nolan McKenna and Dylan Kuipers were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.
 
McKenna, a junior from Wheaton, Illinois and Wheaton Warrenville South High School (Physical Education major), won the 3,000-meter run at Grand Valley State’s Bob Eubanks Open on Friday. His time of 8:31.22 ranks first in the CCIW and fifth on the NCAA Division III national list.
 
Kuipers, a senior from Elburn, Illinois and Kaneland High School (Behavioral Neuroscience & Psychology major), finished second in the pole vault at the Bob Eubanks Open, finishing with a height of 4.90 meters (16-0 ¾). His mark ranks second in the CCIW and third on the national list.
