NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s
Clarissa Ramos was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
Ramos, a senior forward from Elgin, Illinois and St. Edward’s Central High School (Criminal Justice major), helped lead the Vikings to a 78-59 win over North Central in the team’s CCIW opener on Saturday. She scored a season-high 18 points and shot a perfect 9-of-9 from the field. Ramos pulled down three rebounds and added one assist and one steal in the win over the Cardinals.
