North Park's Lake named CCIW Men's Basketball Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s Colin Lake was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
 
Lake, a senior guard from Temperance, Michigan and Whiteford High School (Business major), helped lead the Vikings to a 64-59 win at Lake Forest in their only game of the week on Saturday. He scored a game-high 22 points, pulled down five rebounds and added three assists and two steals. Lake also finished a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line.

During the 2016-17 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,900 academic all-conference recipients, 10 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 33 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients, one CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year and over 100 all-Americans.
