NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Carthage’s Brad Perry was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
 
Perry, a freshman center from Park Ridge, Illinois and Maine South High School (Finance & Economics major), helped lead the Red Men to two CCIW wins last week including one against nationally-ranked Augustana. He scored 17 points in a 74-70 overtime win against the 16th-ranked Vikings on Saturday. Perry tallied two key blocks down the stretch including one in the final seconds to force overtime. He added seven rebounds and one steal in the win. On Wednesday, Perry recorded his second career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds along with four blocks and one steal in a 69-60 win at Carroll. For the week, he shot 14-of-16 from the field including 6-of-7 against Carroll and 8-of-9 against Augustana.
