NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s
Juwan Henry was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
Henry, a senior guard from Chicago and Bogan High School (Sport Management major), helped lead the Vikings to two CCIW wins last week and second place in the conference standings, just a half game behind Augustana. He scored 22 points, pulled down five rebounds and added four assists, one block and one steal in an 87-83 win over Wheaton on January 11. He followed up with 18 points, six rebounds, two assists and one block in a 74-72 win against Elmhurst on January 14.
