Augustana's Anderson named CCIW Women's Basketball Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Augustana’s Izzy Anderson was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Anderson, a sophomore guard from Rock Island, Illinois and Alleman High School (Biology major), averaged 22.5 points for the 2-0 Vikings last week. She scored 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field (2-of-3 from three-point range), three rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 103-94 overtime win over Coe on November 29. She added 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting, six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in an 88-85 win over North Park in the CCIW opener on December 3. Augustana is 6-0 for the first time in school history.
