NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s
Zach Plank was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season on Tuesday.
Plank, a senior from Dunlap, Illinois and Dunlap High School (Actuarial Sciences major), won the individual championship at UW-Oshkosh’s Kollege Town Sports Invitational on Saturday. He led the 551-man field with a time of 24:46.2 as the Cardinals also won the team title with just 24 points.

During the 2015-16 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,600 academic all-conference recipients, 14 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 36 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and over 100 all-Americans.
