NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s
Juwan Henry earned his third College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honor of the season on Monday.
Henry, a junior guard from Chicago, Illinois and Bogan High School (Sport Management major), averaged nearly 30 points per game in leading the Vikings to a 2-0 record last week. He scored a game-high 29 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field, along with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in an 82-71 win over Wheaton on January 13. Henry followed up with 26 points on 8-of-14 shooting, six rebounds, five assists and one block in a 77-71 win at Millikin on January 16. Henry is now 10th on North Park’s career scoring list with 1,401 career points.
