NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s
Liz Rehberger was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second-straight week on Monday.
Rehberger, a junior guard from Chicago, Illinois and Resurrection High School (Nursing major), averaged 31 points per game as the Vikings (12-2, 3-0) went 2-0 last week and currently sit atop the CCIW standings. She scored 31 points and added four rebounds and two assists in a 69-52 win over Carthage on January 6 and added 31 points, five rebounds, four steals and two blocks in a 71-62 win over Augustana on January 9. She finished a combined 21-of-44 from the field and 15-of-19 from the free throw line in the two games. Rehberger was the first back-to-back winner this season.
