CCIW announces 2015 All-Conference Men's Lacrosse Team

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its inaugural all-conference men's lacrosse team on Monday.

Augustana junior attacker Scott Davis (Overland Park, Kan./St. Thomas Aquinas) earned CCIW Offensive Player of the Year honors, while Carthage senior face-off specialist Rémy Giacotto (Elmwood Park, Ill./Fenwick) won the conference's defensive distinction. Illinois Wesleyan freshman midfielder Nick Winter (Arlington Heights, Ill./St. Viator) was named the CCIW Newcomer of the Year. 

Carthage's David Neff earned the CCIW Coach of the Year honor after leading the Red Men to the CCIW's regular season title in 2015. 

The all-conference team was voted and decided upon by the CCIW's head men's lacrosse coaches and can be found in the link below.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services eight member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). During the 2013-14 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,400 academic all-conference recipients, 14 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 33 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and 87 all-Americans.
