WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A total of 15 individuals and three relay teams from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) took home all-America certificates at the 2015 NCAA Division III Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend.
In addition, North Central’s
Travis Morrison (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Schaumburg) and
Luke Winder (Joliet, Ill./Plainfield Central), along with Illinois Wesleyan’s
Allie Boudreau (Deerfield, Ill./H.S.) were national champions in the men’s 5,000-meter run, men’s pole vault and women’s pentathlon, respectively.
The Augustana 4x400-meter relay team of
Isaac Smith (Marion, Iowa/H.S.),
David Devore (Midland, Mich./H.S.),
Keith Cline (Byron, Ill./H.S.) and
David Voland (Batavia, Ill./H.S.) were also national champions in their respective event.
In the men’s team standings, North Central was fifth with 31 points, followed by Augustana in 11th with 15 points and Elmhurst in 40th with five points. On the women’s side, Illinois Wesleyan placed third with 39 points, followed by North Central in 21st with 10.50 points and Carthage in 44th with three points.
