NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan’s 4x400-meter relay team, along with North Central’s
Ebony Stallworth were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.
The Titans’ team of
Maddison Zimmer (Delavan, Ill./H.S.),
Angela Herrman (St. Joseph, Ill./St. Joseph-Ogden),
Liz Oltman (Port Byron, Ill./Riverdale) and
Allie Boudreau (Deerfield, Ill./H.S.) won the 1600 relay at the Olivet Nazarene Indoor Qualifier on Saturday, clocking a time of 3:53.65. This mark is currently first in the CCIW and first in NCAA Division III.
Stallworth, a senior from South Holland, Illinois and Thornwood High School (Exercise Science major), won the shot put at the Cardinal Classic on Friday with a throw of 14.48 meters (47-6 ¼). Her mark was an overall lifetime best between both the indoor and outdoor season and also set a new school record. She is currently ranked first in the CCIW and fourth nationally.
