North Central's Kelleher wins third CCIW Athlete of the Week honor

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Troy Kelleher was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the third time this season on Tuesday.

Kelleher, a junior from Hilliard, Ohio and Bradley High School (English-Print Journalism/Marketing major), won the NCAA Pre-National meet at The Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio on Saturday. He finished first out of 375 runners with a time of 23:36.28 in the 8K as he averaged 4:45 per mile. It was Kelleher’s second individual victory in three races this season. The Cardinals finished first out of 31 teams.
