North Central's Kelleher named CCIW Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Troy Kelleher was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Kelleher, a junior from Hilliard, Ohio and Bradley High School (English-Print Journalism/Marketing major), was first out of 164 runners at the Elmhurst Early Bird Invitational on August 29. His time of 18:53.10 on the 6K course matched a meet record set by North Central’s John Crain in 2012. The Cardinals won the team title with 16 points, out-distancing second-place University of Chicago’s 54 points.
