NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) recently sat down with all eight conference head football coaches to discuss the upcoming 2014 football season. 

The video interviews were conducted by CCIW assistant commissioner Mike Krizman from July 30 to August 11 via Google Hangouts on Air and replaced the old preseason coaches' chat that was held via Cover it Live since 2009.

Coaches provided information on players to watch, reviewed the previous season, and also reflected on the overall direction of their respective programs.

Fans are encouraged to follow the CCIW's Twitter account @CCIW_Athletics where the conference will announce the results of the preseason coaches' poll on Wednesday, August 13 at 9:30 a.m. CST.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services eight member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, IL), Carthage College (Kenosha, WI), Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, IL), Millikin University (Decatur, IL), North Central College (Naperville, IL), North Park University (Chicago, IL) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL). During the 2013-14 academic year, the CCIW honored over 1,400 academic all-conference recipients, 14 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, 33 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and 87 all-Americans.
