NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s
Troy Kelleher earned his fourth College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor of the 2014 season on Tuesday.
Kelleher, a junior from Hilliard, Ohio and Bradley High School (English-Print Journalism/Marketing major), led North Central to a second-place finish in the 23-team Notre Dame Invitational Gold Division race on Friday. The Cardinals finished 11 points behind Division II institution and No. 2-ranked Grand Valley State. Kelleher placed sixth overall with a time of 24:14.7 in a meet that included teams from all three NCAA divisions.
