North Central's Sebhat named CCIW Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Aron Sebhat was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week Tuesday.

Sebhat, a sophomore from Skokie, Illinois and Niles North High School (Exercise Science major), was the Cardinals’ and the CCIW’s top finisher at Wheaton’s Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday, placing fourth in the 8K with a time of 24:57. It was just his second race of the season and a more than two-minute improvement over an 18th-place finish at the Hanover Madison Kiwanis Invitational on September 7. North Central rested many of its top competitors and still came up just two points shy of winning the meet, placing second behind third-ranked Washington University in St. Louis.
