NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Park’s T.D. Conway, Elmhurst’s Charlie Roberts and Illinois Wesleyan’s Michael Kelley were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Players of the Week Monday.

Conway, a freshman quarterback from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and California High School (Business major), threw for 345 yards and three touchdowns during the Vikings’ 45-35 win at Augustana on Saturday. The win was North Park’s first against Augustana since the 1971 season and first-ever win in Rock Island, Illinois. Conway was 17-of-33 passing on the day.

Roberts, a senior defensive end from Walker, Michigan and West Catholic (Mathematics major), led the Bluejays with 13 total tackles (five solo), two tackles-for-loss, 0.5 sacks and one pass breakup in a 20-7 win over Millikin on Saturday. The win was the Bluejays first in the CCIW this season.

Kelley, a sophomore kicker from Carbondale, Illinois and Carbondale High School, totaled 12 points during the Titans’ 30-19 victory over Wheaton on Saturday. He was three-for-three on field goal attempts, with a long of 38 yards, and three-for-three on PATs. Kelley now has 66 career PATs, which ranks seventh in Illinois Wesleyan history. The win over the Thunder gave the Titans a 7-0 record for the first time since 1996.
