Wheaton's McCrary wins third CCIW Men's Basketball Player of the Week award

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Wheaton’s Tim McCrary earned his second-straight College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honor on Monday, his third such recognition this season. 

McCrary, a senior forward from Wilmette, Ill., and New Trier High School (Business & Economics major), averaged 25.5 points and nine rebounds in two CCIW wins last week. He scored a game-high 27 points, pulled down nine rebounds and tallied five steals, three assists and two blocks during a 79-73 win over Carthage on January 17. He followed that up with a game-high 24 points, along with nine rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 75-52 win over North Park on January 21.
