NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Alicia Zimmerman was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Tuesday.
Zimmerman, a senior from Wheaton, Ill., and Wheaton-Warrenville South High School, (Physical Education major) placed 17th out of 291 runners at the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships on Friday. She finished the 5,000-meter course in 18:21 as the Cardinals took seventh out of 28 teams.
