NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central’s Krista Cota was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Tuesday. 

Cota, a junior from Eldridge, Iowa and North Scott High School (Business Administration major), finished seventh at the Brooks Invitational on Saturday, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Cota achieved a time of 22:17.81 in the 6K, helping the Cardinals finish ninth in the 43-team field.
