The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin has come to an agreement with Choice Hotels to become an official hotel partner, it was announced today by Chris Martin, the commissioner of the CCIW. Under the terms of the agreement, this partnership will provide a 15 percent discount on all hotel rooms utilized by CCIW staff, coaches, student-athletes and parents.

Choice Hotels include the following brands: Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, MainStay Suites, EconoLodge and Rodeway Inns. The chain numbers nearly 5,000 locations worldwide and is also an official partner with the Big South, America East and Northeast conferences.

In order to access the discount rate, room reservations need to be made by visiting www.choicesportstravel.com and entering the CCIW code, which is 00215470, in the special rate ID section.

This partnership is the second for the CCIW involving a major hotel/motel chain. Currently the CCIW has an agreement with Baymont/LaQuinta, which has over 500 locations worldwide.
