Outlook
Carthage earned the CCIW title during the regular season by going 7-0 in conference play, including a 30-25, 30-28, 30-24 win over Elmhurst on October 18. The Lady Reds will host the conference tournament after defeating North Park 30-20, 30-17, 30-13 in the play-in round on November 1.

Both Carthage and Elmhurst come into the tournament with national rankings as the Bluejays were listed at No. 20 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association/College Sports Television NCAA Division III poll, while the Lady Reds were No. 25. Millikin also earned votes during the past week from the AVCA/CSTV poll.
