Carthage lone cciw volleyball team selected to ncaa tournament

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- After winning the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Volleyball Tournament over the weekend, the Carthage Lady Reds earned the CCIW's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Carthage finished the regular season with a 31-4 overall record (7-0 in the CCIW) and are the conference's lone representative to the 2007 tournament.

The Lady Reds will host a first round regional to be held Nov. 8-10. The Lady Reds face Carroll (20-13) at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8.
