Illinois Wesleyan's piotrowski Named CCIW women's tennis Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Illinois Wesleyan's Kristen Piotrowski was named women's tennis player of the week in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Wednesday after her performance last weekend.

Piotrowski, a senior from Palatine, Ill., and Fremd High School, playing at No. 3 singles, went undefeated over the weekend, winning both matches against CCIW competition. Piotrowski defeated Elmhurst's Stephanie Russ 6-0, 6-1, then defeated Wheaton's Brittany Dunn 6-3, 6-2. As a team, the Titans defeated Elmhurst 6-3, but lost to Wheaton 8-1.
