Wheaton’s Hale Named CCIW Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Wheaton’s Shannon Hale was named women’s tennis player of the week in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Tuesday after her performance during competition the past weekend.

Hale a senior from Littleton, Colo., and JK Mullen High School, playing at No. 2 singles, won both of her matches against Carthage and Elmhurst in straight sets on Saturday. She paired up with teammate Brooke Parrish two win both matches against Carthage and Elmhurst at No. 2 doubles. Hale is undefeated in singles play and in doubles with Parrish this fall.
