Pairings Set for CCIW Soccer Tournaments

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Men’s and Women’s Soccer Tournament pairings are set, with Wheaton and North Park holding down the top seeds.

The Wheaton women, the defending NCAA champion who owns a conference record of 7-0-0, will host No. 4 seed Carthage (4-2-1) on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., while No. 2 Illinois Wesleyan (5-2-0) plays host to No. 3 Augustana (5-2-0) at 7 p.m.

The men’s tournament will kick off a day later as No. 4 Carthage (3-4-0) travels to No. 1 North Park (5-1-1) for a 7 p.m. start on Wednesday, Nov. 2. In the other semifinal game, No. 2 Elmhurst (5-1-1) plays host to No. 3 Wheaton (4-2-1) at 1:30 p.m.

Both championship games will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the highest remaining seed on the women’s side after Tuesday’s semfinal games.

CCIW Women’s Soccer Semifinals (November 1)
Game 1: No. 3 Augustana (15-3-0, 5-2-0) @ No. 2 Illinois Wesleyan (12-5-1, 5-2-0), 7 p.m.
Game 2: No. 4 Carthage (10-5-3, 4-2-1) @ No. 1 Wheaton (17-2-0, 7-0-0), 7 p.m.

CCIW Women’s Soccer Championship (November 5)
Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner; held at highest remaining women’s seed after semifinals

• If at Wheaton - men’s final @ 4:30 p.m., women’s final @ 7 p.m.
• If at IWU - women’s final @ 4:30 p.m., men’s final @ 7 p.m.

CCIW Men’s Soccer Semifinals (November 2)
Game 1: No. 3 Wheaton (14-4-1, 4-2-1) @ No. 2 Elmhurst (12-5-1, 5-1-1), 1:30 p.m.
Game 2: No. 4 Carthage (7-9-1, 3-4-0) @ No. 1 North Park (9-6-1, 5-1-1), 7 p.m.
