Nolan, Kirkpatrick Earn CCIW Soccer Player of the Week Honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Colin Nolan of Augustana and Brittany Kirkpatrick of Illinois Wesleyan were named College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Men’s & Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for their performances during the past week of competition.

In a pair of Augustana victories last week, Nolan, a senior forward from Davenport, Iowa, recorded three goals and one assist. On September 27, in a 4-1 win over North Central, Nolan had two goals, and in a 2-0 victory at Beloit on October 1, he had a goal and an assist. The Vikings are 7-2-1 this season.

Kirkpatrick, a senior forward from Lakeville, Minn., had two goals against Elmhurst in the Titans’ 2-0 CCIW win over the Bluejays October 2. Kirkpatrick also had an assist in the Titans’ 2-1 non-league win over nationally-ranked (and previously unbeaten) Loras on Sept. 27. The Titans are 7-3-1.
