two from cciw named women's soccer all-americans, 15 named all-region

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Wheaton’s Taryne Lee and Augustana’s Kayla Radloff were named 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Americans.

Lee, a native of St. Charles, Ill., and Wheaton Academy, earned a spot on the first team while Radloff, a native of West Chicago, Ill., and West Chicago High School, was placed on the third team.

In addition, 15 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) women’s soccer players were named all-region by the NSCAA. Radloff, along with teammates Anna Carey, Lauren Polock and Caitlin Winkelman were named to the first team while Augustana’s Katie Oakes was named to the second team. Lee was joined by second team members Maria Della Torre and Jaime Orewiler, and third team member Brittany Bergh.

Illinois Wesleyan had four players selected to the all-region team including Emily Hinchman (first team), Victoria Samson (second team), Ali Novak (third team) and Lauren Knaack (third team). Elmhurst had a pair of third team members in Stephanie Thomson and Courtney Constantino.
