2004 WOMEN’S SOCCER "PLAYER OF THE WEEK"

ROCK ISLAND, Illinois – Shelly Hecht of Carthage and Marisa Johnson of Illinois Wesleyan shared the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin "Player of the Week" in women’s soccer for the week ending October 24. Hecht scored five goals during the week as the Lady Reds went 3-0 in three matches. She had a pair of goals in a 10-0 win over Rockford on October 19, two in a 5-1 victory over Concordia on October 20 and one in a 3-1 CCIW win over Elmhurst on October 23. Johnson tallied three goals in Illinois Wesleyan's’4-0 victory over Millikin in CCIW action.
