D3Football.com Names 17 CCIW Athletes to All-Region Team

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The 2005 All-North Region Team was announced by D3football.com Friday as 17 individuals from six different CCIW schools earned a spot on the squad.

North Central and Augustana led the way with five and four respectively, while Wheaton, Millikin, Elmhurst and Carthage all finished with two individuals making the team.

Earning first team honors were wide receiver Tyke Spencer (North Central), offensive lineman Mike Zeifert (Augustana), kicker Andrew Day (Wheaton), linebacker Lenny Radtke (North Central) and cornerback Tom Anthony (Augustana).

The second team featured quarterback Kam Kniss (North Central), running back Mike Guzman (Augustana), tight end Andy Brogan (Elmhurst), offensive lineman Tony Lipka (Millikin), offensive lineman Andrew Cook (Elmhurst), defensive end Andy Studebaker (Wheaton), safety Travis Shea (Augustana) and punter Aaron McLean (Millikin).

The third team included offensive lineman Don Kasper (North Central), defensive end Michael Anderson (Carthage), cornerback Tim Bellazzinni (North Central) and punter Donovan Moore (Carthage).
